Founded in 1970, the University of Washington's Master of Health Administration program has a long tradition of excellence in training future health care leaders. Our alumni have gone on to become executives in hospitals and leaders in clinics, community health centers and consulting agencies.

The UW MHA consistently ranks as one of the best graduate programs in health administration in the United States. It was named No. 15 in U.S. News & World Report’s 2019 rankings. It's also accredited by CAHME, considered the gold standard for graduate programs in health care management.

Our program has consistently high completion and job placement rates. The completion rate is 100%. In 2021, 80% of graduates were employed within three months of graduation.

The MHA program is an interdisciplinary group degree in the UW School of Public Health, which was named No. 9 in U.S. News & World Report's 2023 rankings
